Cockwood In Hollywood was a blast!!

Thanks to everyone who came out to last night?s screening and a special thanks to all the cast and crew for sharing their many talents on this project.

I must say I experienced a different kind of fear/nervousness last night as I sat at the back manning that DVD player...

I knew that after I pushed play that would be it: everything that I have been imagining in my head was about to be shown to the world. All the brewing and stewing was over and the child would either sink or swim.

However, as the first few seconds of the film began, I was amazed to find that the nerves/fears completely vanished. I simply found myself watching this footage (of which I?ve literally seen hundreds of time throughout the editing process) and laughing out loud along with everyone else. It almost didn?t matter what the audience thought I just knew that I was enjoying myself immensely. In fact, the entire process of making these films has been ecstatic for me. I have gotten to work with some of my best friends, created opportunities for others to shine, and met wonderful new people along the way.

Making movies is cool.

Working with passionate people is cool.

I want more.
